The Implementation Manager position is responsible for leading multiple, simultaneous WorldShare Management Services implementations. Implementation Managers work directly with libraries to on-board new users, migrate data, configure, test, troubleshoot, and rollout. The implementation process involves close coordination with several OCLC departments. This position will also be responsible for documenting and developing approaches for improving the current implementation process.
- Directly responsible for leading libraries through the WorldShare Management Services implementation process. Use defined processes and tools/templates to lead these implementations. Measure outcomes against defined goals for each implementation.
- Develop approaches for improving the current implementation process through analyses of completed implementation projects.
- Directly responsible for development of materials that support implementation services. Materials may include project management related tools/templates, on-boarding materials, process flows and sales collateral.
- Collaborate with internal OCLC teams.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Masters of Library Science Degree (MLIS).
- 4-6 years experience working in or directly with libraries.
- Knowledge of library workflows.
- High energy / can do attitude.
- Experience managing projects (managing relationships; scheduling project plans; communicating clearly and professionally).
- Experience producing high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent collaboration skills; knows how to build effective partnerships internally and externally.
- Superior communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to proactively identify problems and opportunities, to think critically and to act upon them.
