The ideal candidate will have: deep familiarity with humanities scholarship and digital methods at the graduate level; an interest in experimental approaches to analysis, authoring, and publication; experience in teaching and administrative roles in higher education; and a commitment to the training of emerging scholars and alt-ac humanities professionals. Primary Responsibilities: Mentoring, managing operations, coordinating staff support for team-based and individual graduate fellowship programs at U.Va. Library. Developing intellectual programming in the digital humanities for the Scholars' Lab and building community among emerging scholars. Fostering collaboration on humanities training and research support. Job RequirementsRequired: Master's degree or equivalent in the humanities or humanistic aspects of information science. Project management, supervisory, and teaching experience. Ability as an instructor, mentor, writer, and researcher. Excellent communication skills. Computer applications appropriate to digital humanities scholarship. Preferred: Doctoral degree in a field related to humanities scholarship or humanistic aspects of information science. Previous experience in higher education administration and experience in digital project development. Previous experience in writing and administering grants.
