Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor

Job Description

Teach, conduct research, contribute service and provide leadership in the school library certification program of coursework and develop close relationships with practitioners and educators in the field. Advise master's and doctoral students, and provide supervision for practicum experiences
at K-12 schools. Job Requirements

The minimum requirement for appointment is an earned doctorate in information science, education or other related fields at the time of appointment. The program seeks candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: research of K-12 school library related areas, evidence-based practice research, information literacy and information network technologies. Candidates will demonstrate evidence of effective teaching, research, and scholarship with experience/expertise in the broad area of information science and the specific area of school librarianship.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated record of funded scholarly research and publication.
