ALISE Leadership AcademyLaunched in 2019, the objective of the ALISE Leadership Academy was to create communities within library and information science for the exploration of leadership roles as chairs, directors, and deans. We aimed to build interest in leadership and to build the confidence of prospective leaders. The Academy invited first-time attendees while also providing prior year attendees a forum to reconvene, reflect on their learnings from the past year, and to gain new insights to deploy. The Academy welcomed the confident, the hesitant, and the curious!
