The editor for the ALISE News is accepting articles for the new edition. If you have a story, picture with caption, or announcement that you would like to place in the News, please send it to Kathleen Combs by Friday, November 13th.
*Call for Resumes, Jobs Ads and Interviewing Space Orders at ALISE 2010
ALISE is now accepting resumes, job ads and interviewing space orders for its Job Placement Services Center at the 2010 ALISE Annual Conference in Boston, MA. If deadlines and details, see our Job Placement website.
*ALISE/COA Questionnaire 2009
All schools of library and information science are invited to participate in the current round of data collection for the ALISE Statistics Program. Your participation in the Statistics Program is needed to make the 2010 Statistical Report as complete, comprehensive, and accurate as possible. *2010 Elections - Voting Opens November 6
Voting for the 2010 Elections will open Friday, November 6th. All 2009 paid personal members of ALISE are eligible to vote. All 2009 Members will be sent individual emails with a link to the online voting option. Those without email will be sent a paper ballot. For more details about the candidate and about the election, please see our 2010 Election page.
