Vedat Diker has been teaching for two de cades and directing academic programs in information-related fields for ove r a decade. Most recently, he has been the Director of the University of Ma ryland iSchool's B.Sc. in Information Science Program. His scholarly and te aching interests include data and process modeling, relational and graph da tabase design and administration, data-driven web application design and de velopment, feedback systems modeling and simulation. He holds a PhD in Info rmation Science from SUNY Albany. |
There is an increasing n umber of undergraduate programs in LIS departments and iSchools and these p rograms come with their own opportunities and complications.
