Presentation Descriptio
n:
The field of LIS has expanded past that of the shushing public li
brarian. With technological changes as well as the field of information sci
ence expanding across different sectors, a broad range of career tracks in
LIS have emerged – across practice, industry and academic pathways.
<
br />How can we navigate or understand broader levels of impacts afforded b
y our library and information science backgrounds and training? What are th
e considerations across the different tracks, and how should we develop or
think about impact within each track?
In this webinar, hear from lead
ing LIS scholars and leaders who will share their experiences, perspectives
and advice for anyone who may be considering expanding their work and deep
ening their impacts in different ways.
This webinar is part of
a series of webinars associated with the ALISE Leadership Academy 2022. Att
