ALISE Xchange

Change happens.  ALISE is leading the change through e-xchange.

ALISE Xchange (hashtag: #ALISEXchange)

  • A members-only e-forum for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and/or skills on issues that are impacting library and information science education and research
  • One-hour sessions that serve to exchange ideas, concerns, practices that plant the seed for action locally at your own institution, nationally or internationally in the broader professional community.

Fall 2014: SIG X-Change Webinars

Call for Proposals

SIGs are invited to submit proposals for X-Change Webinars, to be held in the fall of 2014.  The topic should relate to the focus of your SIG, but should also be of some interest to the members of ALISE in general.

X-Change Webinars are one hour in length and are held in the middle of the day (e.g., 1:00 p.m. CT) during  a weekday (usually not on Friday).

If your SIG is interested in offering a webinar during the fall, please submit a proposal of no more than 250 words that includes the following:

  • Title
  • Name(s) of webinar leader(s)
  • Description of the topic(s) to be discussed
  • Description of delivery strategies to be used (e.g., presentation with slides, question-and-answer, discussion, etc.)
  • Proposed dates for webinar; please include three options—one in September, one in October, and one in November.

Please email proposals to Don Latham, [email protected], by July 1, 2014.
