Reservation Procedures
To reserve a room, call hotel reservations. Be sure to mention "ALISE" or the "Association for Library and Information Science Education Conference" when you call to ensure you receive ALISE '08 rates. The deadline for the hotels to receive your reservation is Monday, December 17, 2007. Reservations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. After this date, the rates will increase.

Room Reservation Guarantee
A deposit totaling one night's room and tax is required for all reservations. You may secure your reservation by providing credit card information or by mailing a check directly to the hotel (made payable to the hotel). Please note that the deposit will be charged to your credit card.

Cancellations or changes
To Cancel or adjust reservations, contact the hotel directly.

Check-in/Check-out times
Check-in time is 3:00pm Check-out time is noon.

Airport and Transportation Information

Philadelphia International Airport is located seven (7) miles from downtown Philadelphia, the Airport is easily accessible from Interstates 76, 95, and 476.

Driving Directions
From PHL airport take I-95 North. Turn right onto PA-291 East. Turn left on to South 26th St. S 26th St. / PA-291 E becomes I-76 West. Merge onto the Vine St. Expressway toward Central Philadelphia. Take the 23rd St. exit toward Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Take the ramp toward Ben Franklin Pkwy/Art Museum and stay straight to get on to Winter St. Turn right to get onto Ben Franklin Pkwy. Follow the roundabout an take the first exit for Race St.

Airport Shuttles
Shuttles to the hotel leave from Zone 4 on the Commercial Transportation Roadway, the cost is $18.

Taxis
Taxi services can be picked up at Zone 5 on the Commercial Transportation Roadway. All Taxi rates are based per trip not per person. Most taxis can accommodate up to 3 passengers. In some cases certain vehicle types can accommodate 4 passengers.
A $25.00 Flat Rate is charged from the Airport to the Central Philadelphia Area.
