Job Description:
Qualifications: The assistant professor position requires an earned doctorate or ABD status in Library and Information Science, Education, or a related field and at least two years working as a school librarian in an elementary or secondary school. A record of research and publication, national professional service, and experience teaching online graduate courses in school librarianship are preferred.
Responsibilities: Duties include teaching, research, and service. Courses taught may include school library administration and management, technologies production and use, and collection development. Research activity is expected, with research development supported by the College and by the University.

Salary Range: The position is a 9-month contract appointment with opportunities for summer teaching. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Faculty appointments are for nine months with opportunities for summer teaching. Salaries are commensurate with qualifications and level of appointment.
