ISE/Proquest Excellence in Teaching Award. In this webinar she shares ten i
deas for innovative teaching that she has used in her classrooms. Mindfulne
ss meditation, souvenirs, iSquares, and "creative deliverables" are just a
few of the pedagogical surprises she will describe. Each idea will be prese
nted with an eye to turnkey implementation, so that other educators in the
audience can adopt and implement one or more of the strategies right away.
Real student feedback drawn from course evaluations will supply a student p
erspective, when available. Time will be reserved at the end of the webinar
to entertain additional ideas for innovative teaching, sourced from the au
dience.

e Professor at the Faculty of Information, University of Toronto. Her resea
rch and teaching aim to be an imaginative, energetic, and committed form of
intervention in the field of library and information science (LIS). She be
lieves a different character of LIS is possible, one that moves beyond prag
matic concerns with information resources and technologies to consider posi
tive and upbeat information phenomena across the entire human experience.
