Terms of Reference:

a.    Review all publications (print and electronic) and other communications programs of the Association and to recommend improvements concerning costs, pricing, marketing and related areas

Minimum Expectations:

1. Provide oversight of ALISE publications, working with the editors of the Membership Directory, Journal of Education for Library and Information Science, and the ALISE Statistical Report
2. Review and make recommendations regarding the Association's web based communications, include the web site and social media
3. Review the Association's publications program as a benefit of membership and recommend areas for development in support of the strategic goals
4. Review costs, pricing, and marketing of ALISE publications

b.    Solicit manuscripts for submission to the Journal of Education for Library and Information Science
c.    Provide advice on matters of content and editorial processes, including column editors, to the Editors of the Journal of Education for Library and Information Science

Minimum Expectations 2013-2014:

1. Referee manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Education for Library and Information Science
2. Provide JELIS with editorial direction
